    WHO IS JEAN HARLOW? >>>

Jean Harlow was born March 3, 1911, in Kansas City, Missouri and died June 7, 1937. A Hollywood star in the 30s she was known as the original blonde bombshell.
Her real name being Harlean Carpenter as Jean Harlow she starred in 36 films even though she died at the age of just 26 of uremic poisoning and kidney failure, a result of the scarlet fever she had suffered during childhood at 15 (she also had suffered meningitis at the age of 5). She also became the first actress to appear on the cover of 'Life' magazine.

She married at the age of 16 and moved to Beverilly Hills. Being an actress was not something she wanted to do, but became a film extra to please her mother. She was then offered a role in 'Why is a Plumbr?' in 1927.
In 1930, movie producer and entrepreneur Howard Hughes became interested in Jean and cast her in Hell's Angels. In Hell's Angels, she spoke the now famous line, "Would you be shocked if I changed into something more comfortable?" Jean's appearance in Hell's Angels made Jean a new sex symbol and the film was followed by another hit, Platinum Blonde, and several films with Clark Gable.
