Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 50th birthday Saturday night with a star-studded carnival and casino-themed party on the New York streets on the historic Warner Bros. backlot, Access Hollywood has learned.

Ellen had over 300 guests show up to celebrate her mid-century mark, including newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who made Ellen’s party their first stop in LA as husband and wife. Also in attendance were Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Matthew Perry, The Jonas Brothers, Lauren Graham, Ray Romano, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, TR Knight, David Spade, Kevin Connolly, Cheryl Hines, Ricki Lake, Guns & Roses’s Slash, David Spade, Pink, Noah Wyle, Allison Janney, Sean Hayes, Suzanne Sommers, Joely Fischer, Sarah McLachlan, Leah Remini and and the Hilton sisters - Paris and Nicky, with their paramours Benji Madden and David Katzenberg.
Partygoers were treated to a carousel, Ellen’s house of mirrors, bumper cars, a dunk tank, poker and craps tables and a whack-a-mole game.

Hungry guests dined on sushi from Sushi Roku, a dim sum buffet, a comfort food buffet and a supper club buffet. Pinkberry served their famous tart yogurt for desert, and even made pina coladas.

Singer Pink, who performed “Trouble,” “Dear Mr. President” and Janis Joplin’s rendition of “Me and Bobby McGee”, provided the night’s entertainment, along with Samantha Ronson on the turntables.

On the way out, guests received donuts and coffee to go in Ellen thermoses.

Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani leave her brother’s house with their son Kingston on Sunday for Mother’s Day.

Gavin, 42, and Gwen, 38, have been married for five years and are expecting their second child together this summer.

Gavin is currently preparing to launch his solo career next month.

Gwen Stefani shopping at Bristol Farms Market in Los Angeles

A very pregnant Gwen Stefani headed out for a bit of shopping at Bristol Farms Market in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 3).

Accompanied by her nearly 2-year-old son Kingston, the No Doubt frontwoman was makeup free and wearing a flowing black skirt, grey top, and a sweater while browsing the grocery spot.

After heading home, unloading her purchases and freshening up, Gwen and Kingston ventured on over to her parent’s home in the Miracle Mile area of LA.

According to paparazzi on the scene, “Gwen was seen handing her dad several items to carry inside including what seemed to be freshly baked muffins. She then carried Kingston into the house.”

The eyewitness continues, “Gwen’s husband, Gavin Rossdale, arrived separately and took Kingston with him while Gwen emerged an hour later - wearing a green dress and leaving on her own.”

London, England (BANG) - Gavin Rossdale finds marriage “challenging.” The former Bush singer says he sometimes feels like “an appendage” because of the publicity his wife Gwen Stefani attracts - and hates being described as her “rocker hubby.”

Gavin wrote on his MySpace page:

“It’s been a tough few years for me because I’ve been lost in how to define myself in the present tense. With that glare of the publicity on us, how can I not feel like an appendage at times?”

“It takes a tough man to be married to a force of nature like Gwen. ‘Rocker hubby,’ if I ever see that phrase again. It’s challenging and it forces a lot of humility.”

Gavin and Gwen met 12 years ago when No Doubt were supporting Bush on tour. Gavin and Gwen, who have been married for five years, have a two-year-old son, Kingston, and are expecting another baby in the summer.

Gavin - who is preparing to launch his solo career next month - is also father to model Daisy Lowe.

There’s No Doubt poor Gwen Stefani’s been struggling with her latest pregnancy.

“Gwen was very ill in the first part of her pregnancy and really suffering,” a source close to the Hollaback Girl star and hubby Gavin Rossdale told us.

“Happily, she’s really blossoming now and is in a great space. Gav’s just trying to be right there for her and help her through it.”
